The Family Legacy

In 1990 Brad Parkinson took a risk and left his high paying job to start a small office furniture business here in Logan, Utah. After struggling to get off the ground for several years, customers caught on and his business grew exponentially, creating a name for CIS Office Furniture. With Brad’s recent retirement his son Rhett Parkinson now runs the business with the same values and commitment to serving its customers with industry-leading products, complimentary installation, and a love for our valley and its businesses.

  • What's the warranty policy on your office furniture?
    Warranties vary depending on the product, but laminate casegoods, cubicles, metal storage furnishings, and others contain anywhere from a 25 year - limited lifetime warranty. Office seating (task chairs, guest chairs, lounge seating, etc.) contains anywhere from a 7-year to 12 year warranty. ANSI/BIFMA ratings are also an important factor to the furniture we carry, which is a commercial-grade testing process that ensures quality and performance for highly-trafficked commercial use. Many online products or cheaper alternatives do not have this certification, and therefore do not guarantee long-term performance and safety for users.
  • Do you do installations?
    We manage all of the warehousing, logistics, and transit of your order and complete our installation with our trained in-house crew. This process is complimentary to your order and is never charged for, unlike the majority of our competition.
  • Can I customize my furniture?
    Whether it’s the upholstery, table top finish color, or a higher weight tolerance on a single chair, we can customize to your business's needs, and your employee needs.
  • What are your lead times?
    Generally our lead times are 2-4 weeks across the board. We work with you and your needs to ensure you receive your furniture on time by specifying specific products to meet deadlines. Our manufacturers offer quick-ship programs that offer a wide range of products that can be obtained quickly.
